Did you get a chance to hear or review the marvelous speech given by our very own Speaker of the House? Not only did she put her full confidence in the bill, and congress's capability to pass it, but she rose above partisanship and petty blame games in a way that will be reflected in our successful economy for years to come.
The bill was passed. We'll all live happily ever after. The End.

Politics, as usual, continues to fail us. Honestly, I wasn't even that upset that the bill didn't pass as is. I'd like to see it further revised. However, I didn't think anything she said was necessary or even appropriate under the circumstances. Is that all we do in congress? Do we just bicker over who's better- the big D's or the big R's? So much for government!
Here in America, we just party all the time!
