Seeking truth

I'm beginning this blog with the intentions of seeking the truth. I had hoped to specify a certain area of truth to focus in on, but politics, the economy, or religion alone don't seem to suffice. I'm hoping to create some sort of collaboration of all these categories to paint for the readers a more complete perspective of truth.

In doing so, I also hope to paint an accurate picture of what is not truth. I think this may often prove to be as important as the formerly mentioned, as well as necessary in discovering what truth really is.

I'd like to start by telling you some truths about myself. I am an incredibly bias, conservative, southern Baptist, 18-year-old female. Thus, I will probably let quite a bit of opinion seep into these blogs, but I assure that my intentions will remain the same- seeking the truth. At least I'm willing to admit to my biases and journaling flaws, unlike so many in the mainstream media today. I should probably also mention that I dream of being a political journalist someday, with the eventual plan of running my own magazine with a purpose quite parallel to this blog.

I see this blog, not only as a nice way to inform the public of the truth, but also to teach myself different tactics in seeking the truth. I hope that through your critiques and suggestions, I would become a more capable and fair journalist- but most importantly, honest. Thank you for your support in reading this blog.
